Vibrations composites
2023
Thesis for the Master Degree at HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin).
This research project takes the form of a hybrid text-and-audio work. The thesis is punctuated by 15 interviews with various exceptional sound artists and musicians (listed below), available for listening on a Bandcamp page. These interviews formed the backbone of the work, supplemented by reflective texts, book quotes, and analyses of works that raise questions about listening, the repurposing of electronic waste into sound art, and the reversibility between sounds and objects. This research was based on experience and encounters, by listening to these words and perspectives that each time revealed a different sensibility and enriched the understanding of sound.
With the participation of Rié Nakajima, Pierre Gordeeff, Eamon Sprod, Daniel Depoutot, Arnaud Destrée, Erik Samakh, Frederic Le Junter, Yann Leguay, Claudine Simon, Tanguy Clerc, Rudy Decelière, Simon Whetham, Patricia Alessandrini, Elsa Biston, and Kathy Hinde.
