Electric clavichord

This electroacoustic instrument is a hybrid of an electric guitar and a clavichord, built using a repurposed piano keyboard. At the end of each key, there is a steel striker that strikes an electric guitar string. The sound is amplified by large, custom-made electromagnetic pickups. This instrument has been used in various experimental and ambient music concerts, where the sounds are sampled and processed with effects pedals, transformed into long, deep soundscapes.
