Glass casting scraps are collected after a melting process. Their translucent appearance hints at shapes hidden beneath the surface.

These shapes are gradually revealed, first through sanding and polishing the glass, then through enlargement, exposure, and photographic development. These steps progressively bring out the details contained within these fragments.

The resulting images are traces of the material movements that occur as the glass solidifies. The visible lines, folds, and layers are the memory of this event—the transition from liquid to solid.

A connection is drawn between this phenomenon of the crystallization of the glass’s movements and the photographic print, which is often used to capture a fleeting moment.
